Intro

We’re here to make booking premium flights easier, smarter, and more affordable. This policy explains how bookings work, what you can expect, and how we’ve got your back every step of the way.

How booking works

  • 1. Online bookings:
    When you book through our search engine, the process is straightforward. Choose your flight, continue to checkout, and enter each traveler’s full name and date of birth. You’ll also add a credit card to authorize the booking.
    Your card isn’t charged until the ticket is confirmed and issued.
  • 2. Concierge bookings
    Select returning clients may book directly through their Basis concierge. Once your concierge secures the itinerary, you’ll receive a private checkout link to confirm passenger details and add a card, if one isn’t already on file.
    As always, payment is processed only after ticketing is confirmed.

Booking confirmations

Because Basis uses over 30 advanced booking strategies, ticket confirmations can take slightly longer than booking directly with an airline—typically 12 to 24 hours. If your departure is soon, we’ll prioritize your booking accordingly.

Once your ticket is confirmed, you’ll receive:

  • An official e-ticket and confirmation number.
  • A complete itinerary with all flight details.
  • Direct contact info for the Basis Concierge team.

Changes and cancellations

Defining all airline change and cancellation policies in one place isn’t realistic—rules vary by airline, route, and even departure date. That’s why we recommend reviewing the fare rules directly on the checkout page.
You’ll find the exact change and cancellation terms listed there.

Payment and pricing

All prices on Basis include taxes — no hidden fees at checkout.
Additional costs, like extra checked bags (beyond the standard two often included in business class) or seat selection, may apply depending on the airline. These are passed through at cost; we never mark them up.

Pricing is not guaranteed until your ticket is issued. In rare cases — roughly 1 in 20 — the fare may increase after booking. If that happens, we’ll offer you alternative options or a full refund.

Receipts and invoices

Need a receipt for reimbursement or recordkeeping? We’re happy to provide a formal invoice with all the details you need—just ask.

Support

Most of our customers come from word of mouth. That only works if we’re there when it counts.

After booking, you’ll have 24/7 access to support by text, call, or email. Every team member is equipped to solve problems—quickly, and without handoffs.
